Why We Are Here

As a show promoter we feel it is our responsibility to allow our exhibitors, future exhibitors, new attendees and long time supporters to have a platform to discuss ideas, exchange information, ask questions and tell stories about the industry we all love…antiques.  The Original Miami Beach Antique Show will celebrate it’s 50th anniversary in 2011 and one gem of truth sets this show and it’s sister antique shows apart from other industries….we are a community and have been long before social media sites were ever a topic of conversation.  We hear our dealers refer to the booth next to them as “neighbors”, we see the warm greetings exchanged when everyone arrives for set up, we’ve witnessed the buying, selling and discussions common among dealers at show site.  We want to provide you with a place to continue those conversations year round.

The topics we picked for discussion, we believe, have a strong general appeal to everyone who participates with us.  However, please feel free to blog about whatever topics you feel need to be discussed.  We’ll keep an eye on what’s most popular and make changes to the site as you let us know what works best for you.
